If you open Excel by double clicking on the Yields.xls file you might get a run time error if Excel is configured to use a default file location. This application was written using Excel version 8.0e. Previous versions may not support some of the features used in this application. The program contains macros. Excel may give you a virus warning when your first open Yields.xls. This is normal practice if you have Excel configured to warn you about workbooks containing macros. There are no viruses in the original genuine release. However, second-hand copies can pose a possible threat. So it is recommended that you check the files with your anti-virus checker beforehand. You can choose not to enable macros but will lose so much functionality as to render the program unusable. You may also be prompted to update links from other workbooks when you open the program. This is the program looking for info from the three accompanying UpgradeScenario files. Click Yes.
